The link above is to the CEP Updater Program. This has two files for Windows and two files for Linux users.
Place CEP_update and erf.exe in your NWN directory and start CEP_update for windows.
For Linux, place cepuplinux.sh and erf.linux in your NWN directory and start cepuplinux.
In this future this will be a fast way to update however since almost every model in cep has been compiled and textures compressed this will take some time for this update.
This downloads only what has changed and injects it, and makes all the changes necessary to bring a previous version up to date. It works automatically installing everything you need.
The first time you run this it will take about an hour though after that it will take about ten minutes to run. This link is also easier to use to obtain the CEP updater: http://cep.hgweb.org/updater/cep_updater.zipAnd this the link to get to Any of the files for CEP individual or in parcels by version/model: http://nwvault.ign.com/?dir=cep/downloadsHope this is helpful. See you in game. Tree

| Chat Screen Logging is a useful tool if you find yourself in the undesireable situation of having to report another player or dm of some foul wrongdoing. Its much more convincing to have the actually GAME CHAT LOGS! Here is a brief how to do: - Quote :
- Logging Chat Window
There is a nwnplayer.ini setting to log all chat on the client.
Under [Game Options] ClientEntireChatWindowLogging=1 (Defaults to off). Turning this option on will cause all text in the in-game chat window to be logged to the log file (regardless of whether or not you have set certain chat messages to be filtered).
ClientEntireChatWindowLogging causes everything that appears in your text window to be written out to the log file (which also includes things like attack rolls, and saving throw information).
ClientChatLogging will only cause text that appeared due to someone speaking (and server messages) to be written out to the log file (so stuff like the text for attack rolls wont appear in the log file).
One thing to remember though is to move the log file before starting a new game or after you've played, otherwise the file will get overwritten. | |
